JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Executive (AE) will utilize strategic selling techniques and in depth product knowledge to proactively market and sell Texas Memory Systems (TMS) and the RamSan product line. The AE is responsible for all customer facing activities, the successful promotion of TMS within the storage marketplace, as well as providing customer feedback to management for new product development.

Production Technician I

Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of electronic or mechanical products. Also involved in other automated and manual manufacturing and repair processes. Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant will utilize organizational and strong computer skills to provide support to the Director of Sales and the sales team with the sales process. The SA will provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and maintains TMS hardware. Development includes, but is not limited to, PCB and FPGA designs, new circuits, improvements to existing circuits, power considerations, testing, and documentation. Uses lab equipment (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.) to refine designs, troubleshoot issues, measure power, and evaluate signal integrity. Programs and simulates in languages that are appropriate for the particular platform and function being implemented.

Resolves customer issues sumbitted to support that can be solved in 1 day. Handles ticket creation and escalation, manages part exchage process and updates RMA tracking information. Assist the sales team with benchmarh configrations.

Resolve Level 1 support inquires:
Be capable of answering questions concerning the configurations, settings, and options of the RamSan line of solid state disks. Guide customers through installation of RamSans in a wide range of operating systems ( Windows, Linux. HPUX, AIX, Solaris, etc.) Provide storage benchmarking assistance (iometer, fio, xdd, etc). Guide the customer or onsite service provider to replace components to clear hardware faults. Identify and correct issues that can be addressed RamSan firmware upgrades.
Specific Responsibilities:
Support Ticket System Management
- Ensures that all support inquiries have tickets opened and assigned twice a day (9:30 AM and 1:30 PM).
- Responds to the initial communication and opens a case. Manage the support queue folder to ensure that all tickets are being responded to in a timely fashion.
- If the case cannot be resolved by 1st level support, escalate to 2nd level by 4:00 PM. (There should be no Level 1 support tickets open in with the customer waiting on us at the end of each business day. Tickets are assigned via a Round Robin process to L2 or directed to Sale engineering for presales tickets. )
- When there are no 1st Level support tickets open 1st level support assists 2nd level support and ensures that other tickets are up to date.
RMA Management
Initiate RMAs, track status, and close.
Projects
- Participates in third party equipment testing as required.

Systems Consultant

The Systems Consultant (SC) provides the technical leadership necessary for all opportunities supported by the Account Executive throughout the sales process. The SC is responsible for evaluating a customer’s existing storage system and estimating the performance improvements when solid state storage is integrated into the application and environment. The SC must understand and comment on all enterprise storage and server technologies, and take ownership of technical training for the sales staff.
